Select the MCIS app.
Click the blue box on left-hand side that says "Log in with Clever". Then click "Log in with Google"
Now you should be in MCIS. On the Green Bar click "Practice Tests".
Then finally click on either the "ACT Online Course" which contains modules you can go through to prepare for the ACT Test. Or you can click "ACT Practice Test" which has multiple tests you can go through to prepare. The Practice Tests also give you feedback on questions that you get wrong to help explain different concepts to you. Be aware that both of these links I had to click on and try a couple times before I could get it to open correctly.
What is the ACT Test?
The ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of the subject areas listed here. The purpose of the exam is to help determine whether a student gets accepted into a particular college. A student's High School GPA and ACT score are the 2 main factors that a college will look at to determine eligibility.
English | Mathematics | Reading | Science |
The ACT Plus Writing includes the four subject area tests plus a 30-minute Writing Test.
ACT results are accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the U.S.
The ACT includes 215 multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 4 hours to complete.
The ACT is administered at various local testing centers on Saturdays, with six scheduled test dates that include the months of September, October, December, February, April, and June.
Make sure to register for the test in a timely way to avoid having to pay a late fee. After you register you will also have to upload a photo into your ACT Web Account. The easiest way to do this is by uploading the photo from your Parent Portal account.
